Through our process safety team we can deliver the design safety studies such as HAZOP and LOPA (layers of protection analysis), which is the first stage in defining an instrumented systems functional safety assessment. Normally at this stage clients would have to find a separate consultant to engage on this highly technical area, but at IDEA our EC&I lead Gary McPhillie can then take over to provide a streamlined solution to our clients needs.
