Electrical Drawings for Hazardous Facilities/ Process Plants

Are your ‘As Built’ site electrical drawings up to date? Do you have any?

In the past few months we have seen a sharp increase in requests to carry out site surveys for clients across many industries to check electrical design documentation and accuracy of drawings.

Some clients don’t have any documentation at all, others are looking to expand production and don’t actually know if electrical infrastructure will be able to supply to new demand.

In another example, one of our client’s electrical engineer was retiring, he had all the knowledge of site which needed documented before leaving.

Whatever the reason, we help you with electrical design. We can review design and documentation and identify any issues.

Our 18th Edition electrical software package enables us to build your full electrical network from main incomer to final circuits. It checks protection devices, disconnection time, cable csa/length, volt drop, earth loop impedance and discrimination between upstream/downstream protection devices.

A report will identify any critical errors in your network.

A full set of updated ‘as built’ drawing is provided in CAD format so that you can maintain any changes or additions going forward.

Whether you have a new greenfield site, adding new plant or updating brownfield facilities, our experts work with you to ensure your design and installation is compliant with current legislation.

If you’re unsure of the current status of your electrical drawings or need some additional assurance, contact our lead EC&I engineer, Gary McPhillie, to find out more.
